Death of Mrs. Jayne

The funeral of the late Mrs. Jayne was held from her home Saturday afternoon. Interment was in the Algonquin Cemetery.

Hattie Anne Haughtelling was born June 2, 1835 at Palatine, New York. She came to Illinois with her parents in 1839 and settled at Long Grove.

She was married to Ebenezer Jayne in 1860 and has since resided in Algonquin.

She leaves to mourn her Mrs. her aged husband, Ebenezer, two sons Silas and William, one daughter, Mrs. C. N. Van----ne of Algonquin , one brother, David of Area?, three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Rev. Robert Dazell officiated at the funeral services. A trio, consisting of Mrs. Robert Dazell, Miss Erma Taylor and Mrs. Brewer, sang, "Abide With Me" and "God Be With You Till We Meet Again."
