Richard Gillilan

Richard Gillilan was born in Nicholas county, W. Va., Sept. 18, 1828, and died at the Morton House, Algonquin, Aug. 13, 1913, at the age of 85 years.

Mr. Gillilan came to Illinois at the age of 6 years and made his home with his parents until their death. Since that time he has lived alone for many years. W When he became unable to care for his own comfort he removed to the Morton House, and has made his home there for the past several years. He is survived by a number of nephews and nieces.

The funeral was attended by a large number of people form out of town as well as many citizens of Algonquin. among those from out of town were: Mr. and Mrs. Neef and daughter and Beverly Bennett and daughter of Chicago; Mr. Causten and sister of Know, Mo.; Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Bennett of Dundee; Mars. Georgiana Seeber of Barrington; Mar. and Mrs. W. Hawley and Miss Mammie Lowe of Elgin; Mrs. T. Allen, Mrs. James Lowe and E. Kerns of Cary.
